Life: 7 books you have to read this summer
Summer has finally arrived in Belgium! The summer vacation has officially started and the temperatures are rising to a lovely 30 degrees Celsius. Time to get out your pools, suncream and floating animals. If you are anything like me you probably want some good literature to go with that mojito as you are relaxing by the pool or sunbathing in your garden.
Vacay: Casa Liesy
A month ago – wow, I just realized that it’s already been a month while it just seems like yesterday – my boyfriend and I wanted to have a chill week after our exams. Last year, we went abroad, to Lanzarote, and this met all our expectations. However, this year we wanted to try something different and discover parts of our own country that we hadn’t seen yet. Since we had just gotten a dog, a gorgeous American Stafford named Diego which we adopted from the local animal shelter, we decided to discover an area in our own country that we weren’t so familiar with: Kelmis, a small city in the German speaking area of Belgium. Discover here how we spent our little vacay:
Pairi Daiza
Last week, my boyfriend and myself payed a visit to the Belgian animalpark Pairi Daiza. The name of the park basically says it all: it’s a little piece of paradise in the middle of Namen, a Walloon province in Belgium. Heaven is a place on earth and the photos to support that statement speak louder than words.
Lanzarote: photo diary
Hello sweet readers! First of all thank you for reading another post on my blog, especially because it has been some time since I last posted. Reason? Like always: I’ve been so busy! I have a serious problem in the sense that I can’t say no and as a result of that I currently am working three jobs. But I just had tons of ideas for new blogposts and had to start writing again because I had so many things I wanted to share with you. I’d like to begin with a photo diary of my holiday in Lanzarote:
London calling! Part 3
Hello everyone! Hopefully you have enjoyed a lovely lazy Sunday. In my case however, it was a rainy day with nothing to do but study. The only bright spot was making another blogpost for you! This will be my last blogpost on my trip to London, as I have only one day left to take you guys through. Are you excited as I am? Follow me in my journey!
London Calling! Part 2
Hello everyone! I hope you all had a good week! Personally, I went through quiet a hectic week, struggling to finish all my school assignments in time! But hey, after a rough couple of days I can take it a little bit easier now (at least, until the exams!) and enjoy writing this new blog post on my second day in the beautiful London. Ready, set? Go!
London Calling! Part 1
Hello my lovely readers! I know it has been a while since I posted a new blogpost. However, I have a good reason for it: I went to LONDON! I went together with a few of my classmates and my English Proficiency teacher, as it was a school trip. It was very exciting for me, because it was my first time! We went for three days, but in this blogpost I will focus on my very first day in London and the impressions I had. Now, let me take you to the amazing city of London!
Ostend: Sea, Sunshine & Laughter
As you may have noticed my weekly post is somewhat later than usual. But only because I wanted to share my amazing last few days that I spent on the coast, in Ostend. Some of you might have seen some of the lovely moments I captured on my instagram feed, but there is lots of more to see!
