When I went to Milan, Italy in September, one thing was definitely on my list: visit the most famous beauty shop in the world: Sephora. Since we don’t have a Sephora store in Belgium and everyone who is somewhat interested in make-up always seems to be obsessed with this retailer, I was very curious about the fuss was all about. Did it meet my expectations? Read on to know more:
Well, I won’t turn around the fact that I was really impressed with this beauty walhalla. For anyone who is a self-proclaimed beauty addict (like me) this is heaven on earth. The range of brands and products is so extensive, and the people who work there were (at least in Milan) very friendly and helpful. As the choice of items is so elaborate, you can imagine that it’s hard to pick just a few and I must admit, I didn’t hold back. Since I saved up for this trip and worked hard during the Summer, I spoiled myself with a big Sephora haul. I mostly picked out the travel sized items, since I had no experience with most of the brands or the specific products. Also, I opted for a few hyped items, which are supposed to be worth their money. All of the products with their prices are listed below. Some of the testers in the photo’s I got for free since I paid for more or less 250 euros.
When I saw that there was a Bath&BodyWorks shop in Milan, I had to try a couple products out as well. This American brand is also not easily available in Belgium. I remembered some raving comments by famous beauty blogger Zoella, so I had to get my hands on some products! I picked up two pieces from the ‘A Thousand Wishes’ range, which is one of their bestselling series. It is also perfect for the upcoming Holidays.

I didn’t have the chance to test all of the products out just yet. Let me know if you want a review on any of the products and if you want to see if they are value for money. If you have any questions or recommendations, don’t be afraid to ask: the comment box is there for a reason! 😉
If you want to know more about my trip to Milan, keep your eyes open for more upcoming posts the following days. I can’t wait to share more about my citytrip soon!
