On Saterday, the temperature here in Belgium rose to 26 degrees. Crazy for a day in Mid-October, isn’t it? But who am I to complain about this Indian Summer?! I enjoyed the day walking my dog Diego and reading in the sun, catching up on some school work. I combined an outfit which was to be suitable for the hot weather, but still Fall appropriate.

My look consist of a denim dungaree dress, which is a staple piece in my wardrobe for it can easily be worn throughout all seasons. Because of the heat, I wore it with a t-shirt but when it gets colder I also love to pair it with a roll neck jumper or a sweater. The colour and pattern I chose for the t-shirt is more autumnal and its structure is slightly thicker than a usual cotton one. To finish off the look I selected a pair of burgundy boots, which complemented the colour of the t-shirt. The studs on the boots give the outfit a little bit of spunk.

Because the outfit is fairly simple, I went for a bolder make-up look. I used two warm toned neutrals on my eyes from the Morphe 25b palette to get that definition in my crease and under my eyes. I then applied my favourite mascara, the new Unlimited mascara by L’oréal. I recently got so many questions about my lashes and if I used fake ones but this is my secret! The dual- positioning brush makes it easy to reach both the outer ends and the inner corners of my lashes. It spreads out the lashes evenly and creates more volume. On my lips sits the beautiful colour ‘Ruler’ from the Maybelline SuperStay Matte range. I’ve been a fan of this range for over a year now, and this might be my favourite colour yet: a warm- toned nude colour perfect for Fall! No need to retouch this one during the day btw, it is guaranteed to stay on all day (what’s in a name 😉 ).
