Last Sunday, I was invited to the exhibition of the new jewelry brand Stelth Boutique. Doesn’t ring a bell? Well frankly, I didn’t really know what to expect either, so let me introduce you!
Stelth Boutique was founded quite recently by a young girl named Sofie Gielen. She is full of ambition and filled with a infectious enthusiasm for her brand. The name Stelth Boutique refers to a type of aeroplanes on which the shape of the first prototypes of her jewelry was based. She explained to me that she was feeling bored and started experimenting with pieces of glass and Stelth Boutique was born.

The focus of the brand is mainly jewelry. The necklaces are made from little squares of glass which are organized and then pasted onto a V-shaped piece of leather. On the photos the jewelry looks quite blunt and heavy, but this is not the case. Because of the leather on the back, it is not as stiff you would believe on first sight. These necklaces were the first design of Stelth Boutique, but they’d like to extend their collection to other accessories, like handbags and eventually even clothing.
Personally, I was quite charmed by the leading lady in this whole story. She spoke of her brand with so much dedication and you could definitely tell that she wants to take her brand places. However, the big necklaces aren’t really my style since I mostly don’t even wear necklaces and if I do, I tend to go for a more delicate design. The handbags I did like very much, because she didn’t put as much detail on it and it was something I had never seen before. What I feared though, is that the pieces of glass might be coming off after a while. But, I didn’t came home empty handed and picked out a lovely pair of earrings that are perfect for any occasion. The colour tends to a pastel blue and matches with many of my outfits. I also loved the fact that everything was handmade, and that you could personalize your own item so that no one else walks around with that same piece!
What are your thoughts? Do you like the design and would you consider buying an item? Which item would you go for then? Let me know in the comments!
