Hi everyone! Yesterday I had the greatest experience: I won a shopping trip in Maasmechelen Village! Thanks to Belmodo I could shop whole day with model and blogger Lima Ché, who is a real example to me. Follow me on this amazing trip and discover what I came home with!

When Belmodo called me Wednesday I was once again stunned! A few weeks back I won an entrance ticket to the Uniqlo X Belmodo shopping night, and as I never win anything, this call came as a total surprise! When they asked if I was available on Saturday, I had to keep myself from screaming “YESSS!!!”. I’d say it’s an understatement if I told you they didn’t need to ask me twice? As a surplus I could bring a +1 with me on this lovely shopping trip, so I called my shopping partner in crime Sofie. I couldn’t give her a better gift for her upcoming birthday!

So how did we spent this wonderful day? In the morning we- the other winners and Team Sofie (as I like to call Sofie and me :p)- were picked up by a Belmodo bus in Leuven, who took us to Maasmechelen and dropped us right at the entrance. Such a luxury! Then, we each met the blogger we chose, in my case: the lovely Lima Ché. She is a true inspiration for me: she is beautiful and sweet and is the owner of the fantastic blog Lima’s Wardrobe. She led us through her favourite shops Supertrash, Karen Millen and Sandro, in which she learned us some of her accessorize tricks. You can check the fabulous look she put together here.  After this, we payed a visit to Ellis Gourmet Burger, and had a delicious burger for lunch. Who shops hard, must eat accordingly! 😉

The afternoon we got to ourselves to shop around. This was not difficult at all, as every single one of us got a gift card, valid in every shop. In addition, Maasmechelen Village is a real treat for every fashion lover. You find so many amazing luxury brands here at outlet prices! The atmosphere is really relaxed, it almost seems as if you are shopping abroad. If you are tired from the heavy shopping (yes, I count shopping as a workout), you can recharge your powers in one of the nice restaurants, or sit down on one of the many wooden benches and stuff yourself with blissful waffles and/or ice-cream (oh come on, you deserved it).

Now, the moment which you were all waiting for: what did I buy? Well, I am now a proud owner of the most beautiful flashy pink (!) bag from Coach! When visiting the shop, I was dazzled with so many lovely bags, and I didn’t know which one to choose. I’m already looking a long time for the perfect bag, in which I wanted to invest. I actually was looking for a more remarkable colour, that could give my outfits that ‘something’ extra. However, when visiting the shop I was tempted once again to choose a ‘safe’ colour like brown, marine blue or black. I didn’t know what to do for a moment! Thanks to the great advice of Lima I chose the pink one after all, and haven’t regretted it ever since. As well as the magnificent bag, I bought a nice-looking black wallet from Neuville. This is a perfect basic piece, which is easy to combine with every handbag I own. It also comes in handy when I opt for a more little purse, because of it’s compact size.
